Faculty Retreat Fall 2011
The Shelton State Nursing Faculty participated in a retreat at Zidon Avisha in Elrod, Alabama, on August 17, 2011, to plan for the upcoming academic year. During the retreat, faculty discussed methods to improve our simulation model to educate our students, helping to expand upon critical thinking skills in a “safe” environment. In addition faculty members shared information from professional development activities that they attended during the summer. A date was set for the evening of Thursday, October 13, 2011, for the upcoming Shelton State Alumni Association Kickoff Meeting. 
A contest to name our newest addition to the skills lab, METI-Man, is in the works, along with many more great plans for the future. Stay tuned……
